Lucien Greaves and his merry band of Devil Worshipers Secular Humanists will be unveiling the never before seen 9', 1 ton, bronze statue of Baphomet to the public.  This was originally commissioned to stand next to the monument to the 10 Commandments on the grounds of the Oklahoma City Courthouse, but, since their State Supreme Court shot DOWN the 10 Commandments monument, plans have changed and this statue may now be on its way to Little Rock Arkansas, where Justice Roy Moore apparently has never read the First Amendment.  In any case after many threats of protests and even BOMB threats - for CHRISTIAN groups, no less - the location of the event is being kept secret until tomorrow morning, but rest assure I will be there to report on it!

And finally (for now anyway) on Sunday, August 2nd, at 3:PM,..

...I have the pleasure of hosting Super Star ISSA, and Rainbow Radio founder (not to mention that of a dozen other stations!) Barbara Sobel - who's the soul reason you'll be listening to me in the first place!

So first off, I'd like to send out the most heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who tuned into Sunday's encore presentation of the show I did with JULIAN MARSH.  We got such a response that we actually crashed the server at one point!  So THANK YOU, so much!

Also, I'd like to apologize to anyone who tuned into tonight's show with Terra Snover, creator of Mock Girl. There was about a 30-second long technical glitch, where two tracks were playing right on top of one another. I take full responsibility for that, that was totally my fault, and I have fixed it on the podcast that is now hosted up on the Radio Page.

Been away...

I've been out of town since lats Friday, just getting back in tonight. Coming up...

I'm happy to announce that IMHO RADIO will be expanding to include a Sunday Afternoon show! While the Tuesday show has been almost exclusively an interview show so far, and will continue to be for as long as I can keep finding great and interesting guests that want to come on. The plan is for the Sunday show to be more along the lines of the videos that I had been doing prior to taking this gig, just riffing off of stories that I find throughout the week, and giving my take on the issues of the day.  The first of these will be this Sunday, 6/14.

I mentioned in the last post that next week's show (6/16) will feature Suzanne DeWitt Hall, who's new book, Rumplepimple is now available on Amazon. (I've got my copy coming!) Suzanne and I had a great conversation, covering the book, Popes John Paul and Francis (and that guy in the Middle), and how a strait Catholic woman and a straight Baptist woman get together, marry and reconcile faith and sexuality.

Following that, on 6/23, I'm hosting Aneesh Sheth and Jeremy Behrens.  Aneesh is the creator of CRAVE, a new Net Series about three friends starring Aneesh as Maggie, a transwoman struggling to become an actress, Jeremy as Bobbi, a gay man stuck in a dead-end job and an abusive relationship and Angela DiMarco as Karen, a military wife with struggling with infertility and a marriage that is no longer the same after he husband come homes from a year in Afghanistan.  While we're waiting, go check out their pilot episode, and if you like what you see, support their kick-starter so that a full season can become a reality!

Racism in Policing

SO, I've made the case several times that open-carry is a Whites-only privilege, and that the cops treat whites and blacks dramatically differently in the same situation.

Well, here you go:


Tell me again how racism is dead? How the police don't have a racial bias? Tell me why one man's rights are protected while several of the other's are violated.

Simple answer: If you cannot give a Right to everyone equally, then no one should be given that Right.

Now about those videos I referenced...  IMHO Hall of Famer, CGP Grey has put together a series of excellent videos on various electoral systems.  These are critical of the one we use, and offer alternatives that would make for more representative voting, avoid gerrymandering and encourage a wider array of Political Parties. I highly recommend watching all of them, as they are all really well done. But if you don't have the time or patience for that, please be sure to at least watch the FIRST one, especially if you think Bernie Sanders should run as Independent, or a strong 3rd Party should be formed.
