COMING UP, CLEMENTINE FORD!

I hope you will be able to join us, August 28th, at 9:PM EST on RainbowRadio.FM for IMHO when my special guest will be the Legend herself, Bestselling Feminist Author, CLEMENTIME FORD! We had a truly great conversation that had to split across two shows to contain all of it awesomeness. So please join us for Part One, this Saturday and then come back the following week for Part two!

IMHO 2021 07 31 with Roxanne McDaniel

In case you missed it on my You Tube Channel... And if you DID, why haven't you SUBSCRIBED yet?! But IF YOU DID... You missed a real treat as I was joined by the amazingly talented Country Music Singer and Songwriter, Roxanne McDaniel!

So come give her songs a listen and catch some of the background behind them as well as her own fascinating personal story!

July 17th show

It's been up on my YouTube Channel for a while now, but in case you're not subscribed there (and if you're not, WHY NOT?!) but IF YOU'RE NOT, here is my show with Legendary Nazi Puncher Skarrlett Krow, who's local police department lost some facial-recognition privileges after violating her civil rights and Johnah Barton who is making a call for some help from the LGBTQIA+ community with a visibility project and the formation of a new social media community.

YouTube Censorship

Unfortunately, YouTube saw fit to block the video of my interview with Dr. Robin Schoenthaller regarding her work getting ACCURATE INFORMATION out to the public with regards to the... divoC "outbreak."

It was flagged for "medical misinformation." I appealed, on the basis that nothing in the interview, said by either myself or Dr. Schoenthaller, was in fact in conflict with ANY of YouTube's Standards regarding medical misinformation. Which, I should add, I APPLAUD them for for having, agree with 100% and which can be read HERE.

I lost the appeal and the video was taken down.

Now I want to be clear: I do applaud YouTube for taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the content on their platform. I agree that it is their right to take videos down over content. And I agree with the Community Standards as they are written. But nobody can seem to tell me WHAT I GOT WRONG. (And thus I'm robbed of the chance to correct the record. I may only be a pretend journalist, but I'd still like to be a GOOD pretend journalist!) So if you'd like to help me out, you can find the interview on the post below on in the IMHO-2021 tab at the top f the page. (Its the 12th show.)

If you can tell me what I said (and approximately when it occurs in the video) that violates ANY of the Standards as described in YouTube's own policy (the above link) PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I will remove or address the offending section, and HOPEFULLY be able to re-post the corrected video to my channel here.

Once again: I applaud YouTube for having standards. I agree with the standards as laid out. I have no problem with them removing videos that violate them, or creators who repeatedly do. My only problem? I don't think I did. I'm on THEIR SIDE in all of this, regarding medical misinformation. And they never did tell me specifically what I did wrong. In that case? I don't think it's right to censor content so arbitrarily. I don't even want to argue with them. I just want to know, so that I can FIX IT.

Dr. Robin Schoenthaller, the Boston Cancer Doc Who Writes About Covid

 *phew* Finally caught up!

This is my interview with Dr. Robin Schoenthaller, the Boston Cancer Doc Who Writes About Covid.  (And has the longest name in the history of IMHO.) (Here's her Facebook, which has most of her Covid related articles.) This is playing directly from my Mixcloud, because YouTube pulled the video for "Medical Misinformation" which is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what we are doing here, according to YouTube OWN STANDARDS.

1) Get vaccinated

2) Masks work

3) Dr. Anthony Fauci is a credible expert who was right about everything, according to the best information available at every given point in time.

4) Same goes for the CDC, WHO, etc...

If you DISAGREE with any of those statement, the YOU, my friend, would be in violation of YouTube's community standards. (So take it up with them.) But I AGREE with them. And somehow still got the video blocked. But they can't silence me: Here I am, and here it is.

And we're going to have a talk about YouTube's arbitrary and capricious enforcement of their Community Standards.

Katie Benoit: Shattering the Silence

(...ALMOST THERE...)

In this episode, I am joined by my good friend, Katie Benoit, to talke about her new album, Shattering the Silence. This is a remastered, re-release of her 2108 CD with some additional tracks added. The music takes on a journey through Katie's life, memories and experiences going from dark lows to dizzying highs as she sings about love, loss, betrayal and self-acceptance.

Robyn Carson, gender transition

(...almost there...)

In this episode, my good friend Robyn Carson returns to talk about the process of Gender Transition, and dispel some of the myths associated with it. (William would have "LOVED" this one. Does anyone remember him?)

Another Online, Book Two: Clockwork by Terra Snover

(...getting close...)

In this episode my good friend, Terra Snover returns to talk about her exciting new book, Another Online, Book Two: Clockwork, the sequel to AO, Book One: All Hail the Queen.

American Fascism

(Catching up...)

In this episode, Brynn Tannehill returns to talk about her chilling new book, American Fascism: How the GOP Is Subverting Democracy.

Bria

GAH! Need to get caught up here!

This is the episode with Bria, the creator behind the Life of Bria webcomic and author of several graphic novels including her latest, Coming Out Again: Transition Stories, the sequel to First Year Out: A Transition Story.

Dave Garcia, Affirmations and our experiecne with a Hate Group

FINALLY getting caught up. (Sorry about that!)

Here is the show I did with Dave Garcia, Executive Director of Affirmations here in Ferndale, MI. He's talks about the organization and what they do for the community and we discuss our recent (at the time of recording) experience with a Hate Group that was protesting in front of their building.

Coming up, re-scheduled

I hope you'll be able to join us TONIGHT, at 9:PM EST on RainbowRadio.FM, when I'll (finally) be talking to Dave Garcia, Executive Director of Affirmations, Ferndale Michigan's local LGBTQIA+ community center. (Technical glitch prevented the show from airing last week.) We'll be discussing all of the services that the organization provides, FLEX a little for the awesome city of Ferndale, and touch about the unfortunate incident from a couple of weeks ago regarding a local hate group and how that was handled.
Then, NEXT WEEK (17 April, 9:PM EST on RainbowRadio.FM), we'll be joined by Bria, the creator of the Life of Bria Comics as well as several graphic novels including Coming Out Again which released last month on Amazon. Immensely talented artist and a very personal interview, I had such a great time talking with her, so be sure to catch it!
Then on April 24th, (9:PM EST on RainbowRadio.FM) my good friend and many time guest, Brynn Tannehill returns to talk about her new book, American Fascism: How the GOP Is Subverting Democracy, which will be available on Amazon in the next few days. This book is MUST-READ for anyone who wants to understand WTF is (and has been) going on with America, how things got SO BAD, and why it will be so difficult to fix them in the foreseeable future. Scary stuff, but an easily 5***** essential read for anyone who cares about the direction the country is heading in. SO DON'T MISS IT!

Then, on the 10th I'll be joined by the ass-kicking artist Bria, the creator behind the Life of Bria comic strip!

IMHO with Joanna Harper

If you missed it last night on RainbowRadio.FM, my show with Joanna Harper just dropped over on my YouTube channel

There's a lot of shit going right now with all of  these anti-trans athletics laws, so be sure to signal boost her work. Because, once again and as always: SCIENCE IS NOT ON THEIR SIDE!!

IMHO 2021 03 20 with Suzanne and Declan DeWitt Hall

For those who missed it last night, here is the show we did with Suzanne and Declan DeWitt Hall.

Suzanne is the Author of the "Rumplepimple" series of children's books and the "Where True Love Is" series of affirming Christian devotionals covering every topic from LGBTQIA+ relationships and identities, family, abortion, sex, sexuality and ultimately the  deconstruction of faith and doubt. Her partner, Declan manages the incredible outreach and online community that has grown from these works. These are two of my favorite people in the world, and easily two of my favorite Christians. I strongly encourage you to check out the amazing work that they're doing.

All of Suzanne's books are available on Amazon. And you can find their online community at Where True Love Is and on Facebook!

And coming up next week, 27 March, 2021 at 9:PM EST on RainbowRadio.FM I'll be talking with Joanna Harper about her research into the performance of transgender athletes. Her book, Sporting Gender is also available on Amazon.

Coming up on IMHO, RainbowRadio and YouTube...

A great conversation on Rainbow last night with E.B. Coternord about sex work, and the attitudes, laws and issues surrounding it.  This is one show that really challenged me and forced me to change some of my attitudes more than most do. If you missed it on Rainbow, you can play it below, and it will live (along with the rest of this year's shows) in the IMHO-2021 tab at the top of the page.

The shows are also being migrated over to my YouTube Channel. All of the 2021 shows will be posted at the same time that they drop on Mixcloud (which is what this blog links to.) In addition the audio-only content that airs on Rainbow (and is included here) the YouTube channel will also included the uncut, unedited VIDEO footage from these intervioews as well. SO check that out if you want to put some faces to the voices you hear, and occasioanlly see how awkward and clumsy it gets sometimes. Lol.

I'm also slowly but surely working through the back catalog of shows to get all of those uploaded to YouTube as well. I'm about a third of the way through 2015 at this point, and the newer software and faster upload speed is really making short work of it.

OH, and you can also find my series of WEAPONS VIDEOS there! Just me talking for a few minutes about the pieces in my collection.

Coming up NEXT WEEK, Saturday, 20 March, at 9:PM EST on RainbowRadio.FM, we've got Suzanne and Declan DeWitt Hall. Suzanne is the Author of the Rumplepimple series of children's books and the Where True Love Is series of affirming Christina devotionals covering everything from LGBTQIA+ relationships and identities, family, abortion, sex, sexuality and ultimately deconstructing faith and doubt. And Declan manages the incredible outreach and online community that has grown from these works. These are two of my favorite people in the world, and easily two of my favorite Christians. I strongly encourage you to tune in and check out the amazing work that they're doing.

And then, the following week, Saturday 27 March at 9:PM EST on RainbowRadio.FM, I'll be talking with Joanna Harper about the research she's doing into the performance aspects of transgender athletes and the effects that hormone blockers and hormone replacement have on (assigned) male (at birth) athletes as they go through transition to compete FAIRLY in the Female division of their sport. Transgender athletics is the Right's latest moral panic du jour, so if you have any questions or doubts about the SCIENCE that allows trans women to compete fairly, be sure to tune in!

And then NEXT WEEK, same bat-time, same bat-channel, Suzanne and Declan DeWitt Hall will be on to talk about reconciling sexuality and faith through their series of "Where True Love Is" Devotionals.

 Great shows, don't miss them!

IMHO Returns to Rainbow Radio!

In case you missed it, last week, after a nearly four year absence, IMHO aired one again on RainbowRadio.FM! Although there will be off weeks, we will generally air at 9:PM EST on Saturdays.

My first guest was a frequent visitor to the old podcast, Terra Snover. Back in the day, Terra was the writer and artist behind the Mock Girl webcomic. Since then she's run for congress and published her first novel Another Online: All Hail the Queen. We take a look back at the past four years, talk about all the WTF that happened, and look at how we might move forward. The show can be accessed below, and in the newly added IMHO-2021 tab, above.

And coming up TONIGHT at 9:PM Eastern on RainbowRadio.FM, we've got acclaimed and convicted Nazi Puncher and Bastard Psychopomp of Punk Skarrlett Krow!

And while there is no show on the 6th of March, we'll be back on the 13th with a truly mind-opening discussion about sex work and the issues surrounding sex work with EB Coternord!
