I'd almost make this into another "case for Obama" post, but that would, of course, be absurdly presumptive.
OTOH, to hear the liars on the Right tell it, the defict was so huge (TRILLIONS!) and so historically out of proportion (THREE TIMES WHAT IS WAS UNDER BUSH!) that we would be sacrficing our children's very lives if we did destroy the economy RIGHT NOW in an effort to fix it!
Well, just as with the TARP "cost," which is now projected to turn a profit for the American Taxpayers, it seems that their abusrdly apocolyptic rhetoric (or, as Liberals prefer to call it, "LIES") is just that. Because this month? Obama is sitting on a buget surplus.
And in a no doubt vain attempt to cut off the idiot who no doubt is going to mock me for exagerating the importance of one month's worth of data, despite what I said, quite plainly in my opening line, let me ble clear: The point is NOT that the deficit problem is fixed. It isn't. And neither me nor anyone else said it was. The POINT is that if anyone was to actually believe the LIES told by the Right about the defict, debt or our economic recovery, the last thing one would expect is a month of budget surplus.
It's the kind of thing that takes the wind out of that argment's sails.

ReplyDeleteWell, if you're going to make that point using more lies and misinformation, then why are you calling me the idiot? Have you had a chance to address that "EIGHTY PERCENT" comment you made the other day? That is a lie, but you have defended using it as fact. What other "facts" have you brought that are lies? Maybe all of them? Are you saying liberals can lie but conservatives cannot? Is that the underlying point you seem to be making? Because that is the point being seen. You have lied for entire articles regarding TARP success's based on that 80% number and that number is a lie. But you seem to think it is A-OK to use lies to support your stance. I bet if I started using lies to support my stance you would call me names and be otherwise personally hurtful. But should I point out your lies, you call me an IDIOT.
As for the one month of recovery ... I would like nothing better than to see another 50 or more of those months. However, until we get a president who has some experience in running things more advanced than a neighborhood meeting we will get one month out of 40. The biggest complaint when he ran for office was his inexperience, His presidency has shown he really wasn't prepared for the job. But, as long as you think one month out of however many is good enough reason to celebrate fiscal recovery then you go right ahead and celebrate.

Turns out TARP may never turn a profit according to it's own overseer.
AND
The CBO says it is USUAL for April to show a budget surplus. However, this is the first time in 3 years it has happened. Notice all 3 of them are on Obama's watch. It took him 4 years to achieve what "usually" happens.
Jesus Christ, Eddie, when you going to address those lies you brought concerning TARP and profits and abstinence? You keep whining about ME being an idiot and calling me a stalker, yet you can't even defend lies you make. How is asking for explanations of the lies you make conflate to me being a stalker? It seems you do that all the time when a right-winger lies. Are you a stalker too? Or just a whiner?
